PermaLink Spelunking in Yarrangobilly10/03/2007 10:51 AM
Image:Hans Bruntt's Blog - Spelunking in Yarrangobilly We just returned from a trip around the South Coast of New South Wales. We drove our Falcon west through Canberra and further south to Cooma. This is the main town in the Kosciuszko National Park in the Snowy Mountains. Apparently the ski season was not quite over and we had a bit of a taste of the apres-ski  atmosphere (Aussie style). The following day we went into the Park and did some hardcore spelunking in the Yarrangobilly caves.

The caves were quite cool so Malene was wearing six layers of clothes in this picture. We went on to Narooma on the coast of New South Wales. In the evening we went on a cruise to Montague Island to see the colony of Australian Fur Seals, the Fairy Penguins. On the way we also spotted two Hunchback Whales and a bunch of Pelicans (see photo above). The following day we spent walking in the rainforest and at dusk we went kayaking in the Durras Lake. The water was full of algae that emitted biofluorescent light when we paddled through the darkness. It was truly a magic moment.

Hvad mon det er for et stort stykke fjerkræ der flyver øverst over jeres hoveder? Den lille ligner en måge af en slags. Hej Inger marie
